How GMO Labeling could Help Monsanto

If GMOs are safe, why is Monsanto so opposed to labeling them on food products? Shouldn’t we have a choice about what we buy? I hear both of these statements a lot and I think they are valid questions with complicated answers. I’m just not sure everyone is really interested in the answer. Think corn, soybeans, cotton, and other crops that can be easily traded, stored for a long time, and grown in large quantities. For instance, when you think of cotton you don’t ask where it’s grown or what year it was harvested – it’s just “cotton.” That’s what a commodity crop is. Maximizing yield data

With wireless data transfer and a connection to a trusted provider, farmers can maximize yield data for crop management. As combines rolled out of fields across the Midwest in 2014 there was a new practice that got started, and may become more common in the future.
